It’s not cause they’re different from us…it’s cause they’re ANNOYING as hell. In middle school I had one class that was littered with swag people. In fact, this one kid would shout SWAG every time he got a question right and called himself the “SWAG master.” :/

Yes, we have people like that. They have their pants so low they end up waddling, and if a teacher makes them pull them up the legs end right below their knees. I just sleep tight knowing that in twenty years they’ll be mowing my lawn if they ever get out of jail.

Sorry to say it, but appearance is everything. We use people’s dress to assign them to social and/or economic groups, whether it’s accurate or not. None of us can honestly say we have never judged someone based on their appearance, everyone does it. Don’t try to walk the high ground.

There’s no reason to have a thread to bash people that are street/hood/swag whatever though.
I’m not walking the high ground, you all are being low. I just do see why you all need to act like street ppl are a menace to society and you all are better than them cause you dress differently.

I don’t care if this is rude or not, swag is stupid and childish. Every time I see a swagget walking around, I always sigh and/or roll my eyes. And then, the things that they say are extremely stupid and childish. “You know my swag, not my story”…I couldn’t care less about either!

I’m not defending the thread, but the notion that you can be bigger than being bigger than someone is even more annoying than this “swag” fashion trend. Nobody can say they don’t judge people, period.

Yes, everyone is judged. Be it by character or clothing. I simply think it’s annoying to create a thread to bash on people and call them stupid and say they have no purpose or whatever.

Though I don’t like the “swag movement” I don’t make comments saying they are stupid or have no future.

TheAtlantic, Exactly. I’m going to be sharing college classes with pretentious kids who stereotype to the level some people on this thread do… that’s a bit worrying.

Repede, sorry, my swag only goes up to 419 :(

At my school, it’s not too bad. It’s mainly the people in CP/General classes who are into “swag,” and they kind of isolate themselves from us AP/Honors kids.

I know the mantra that it is wrong to judge people, even swagfags, but while swagfags may be closet geniuses, they wear the UNIFORM of someone that does not have a favorable future
