Hi everybody.

Today was my orientation (third year), and I was blessed with the ability to enroll in three out of my five top-choices. The two I couldnt enroll in were for 1st and 2nd years only, but I need them in order to major in English (and ENLT seminar from which I cant be exempt) and minor in Media Studies (MDST 2000).
The leaders told me that if I mailed the professors and showed up for the first class, a course-action form would allow me to take the classes, despite my third-year status. I emailed one already, and the professor said she would sign one and let me into her class (thank goodness!). The other professor hasnt responded yet, but its only been about twenty minutes so...(haha).
My question is, because I am on financial aid, the orientation leader suggested that I enroll in two back-up classes; so that I dont lose any aid. With that being said, should I just get permission to enroll in the classes and then swap out the other classes during the first week of classes? Is this normal?

Please let me know.
I was so upset about not being able to enroll in these classes! (eek)
Thanks for any and all help.
