Anyone here accepted after attending DiscoSwat? I am trying to figure out the details of admitted student day travel benefits. Did you you receive any info about it yesterday or today? The deadline for the first date is coming soon. He will get in touch with admissions, just curious if anyone had details.
With 23 AP classes, why did you stay in high school 4 years?
D accepted: 4.0 UW/ 5.68/5 W. 1540 SAT, 15 AP, 13 pre-AP/advanced. in the top 10 of over 730 in strong public HS. Yesterday was a good day. This was one of the ones she really wanted.
His school offers 35 APs, and students can start taking them from freshman. He took 2/5/8/8 for each year. He took more APs than anyone in his class, but other top students also took around 20 APs.
A public school?? Wow. What a scholar your son must be, that’s wonderful! DD had 4 at time of application. Only one AP class available to sophomores, which will be discontinued next year.
Yes to LL.
To answer my own question for future readers. The info appeared on his portal, click on the registration form and the relevant details are available there.
My son and I spent the weekend marveling “You got into Swarthmore!” “I got into Swarthmore!” Can’t wait to see campus.
Did anyone get awarded the McCabe Scholarship from the National region after getting in?

Has anyone who was waitlisted heard anything different?
D got an email today to check if she wanted to stay on the waitlist. Anyone else?
Same here, couple days ago.
Anyone hear of any waitlist action?
Swarthmore mentioned in an email to me that they are currently overenrolled, so not looking good for any waitlist movement until summer, if at all.
