Switch from SEAS to CAS?

Hey guys,
If I apply to Penn SEAS (School of Engineering and Applied Science) through the common app (for comp sci/comp engineering), will I be able to switch to CAS (College of Arts and Sciences) any time? I am interested in pursuing Physics as well, which is only in CAS.

If yes, how difficult would it be?
Thanks!

PS: Undergrad

@samc24 You can very easily pick up a second major in CAS in addition to your first major in SEAS or alternatively easily transfer to CAS if you no longer want to major in engineering. If you are in CAS you can also easily pick another major in SEAS. You can also transfer from CAS to SEAS if you are no longer interested in a CAS major, as long as your GPA is above 3.0

@Penn95 thank you.

Instead of changing schools, could I also take in-depth classes from other schools? In other words, how exactly are the classes allotted to us and how flexible is it?

@samc24 Instead of changing schools, you can choose to do two majors in two different schools as i mentioned above, or simply keep your major in one school and take as many classes as you can fit into your schedule from other schools. Penn allows you to take classes in any of its undergraduate and also many of its graduate schools too. The allocation of classes and flexibility will also be determined by the major you have but in general Penn is known for being very flexible in terms of its curriculum and allowing students to explore areas outside their major.

@Penn95 oh okay fantastic
Thanks!

@samc24 Also, you can also be in SEAS and take as many Physics classes as you want. If you don’t want a major or minor, that is fine, but you can also just focus on what interests you, if you wish.
