Switching from Henry Samuel to L&S

Is this possible before I enroll next fall?.. Is the regents scholarship transferrable between colleges? I wish any current students would answer these questions!..

its easy to switch from engineering to L&S. I don't think there's any reason to do it before school starts, and then it will be a simple matter of filing a form (petition in ucla-speak).

I find it paradoxical that switching colleges at UCLA would be so much more expeditious than at UC berkeley, where I have discovered that swtiching colleges require at least "one semester worth of coursework" in the parent college before being allowed to switch, during which students risk crippling their GPA, and therefore their chances of switching at all.

This describes my situation; I applied to CoC at berkeley and Eng at UCLA, got both regents and presently wondering if the money is transferrable at all,, etc etc

You're probably better off contacting the schools than asking here.
But I do know of someone who switched to L&S halfway through first quarter and kept his Alumni scholarship, so I'm guessing people would be able to keep Regents too.
Being in HSSEAS doesn't prevent you from taking classes for your L&S major before you officially make the switch.

the only thing is, drop dates SUCK in hsseas.

I would say it is nearly 100% with a valid reason, in an instant.

THANK YOU GUYS! much appreciated.

...just don't expect to switch back easily though.
