Hi everyone. If I'm admitted to L&S in LA, can I do a double major that is not in the College of Letter and Science after I transfer? cuz I'd also like to pursue a CS degree. Any input is appreciated.

I don’t know for sure at all, but I would be surprised if they do. I would really look into it if that’s what you plan to do.

yea, but I know that berkeley allows students to double major in the L&S if they have completed all the classes in both major after transfer. But since CS is in the school of engineering and applied science instead of L&S at LA, I’m not quite sure if they have a similar policy to do double major.

Yup, I wold be surprised if they let you. I would call admissions directly.

According to UCLA HSSEAS, “A student whose current major is in L&S would need to change their primary major to HSSEAS and then request a double major.” Source: [Change of Major - UCLA Engineering Office of Academic and Student Affairs](http://www.seasoasa.ucla.edu/undergraduates/change-of-majord)

Since it’s basically impossible to switch into engineering after you transfer, that requirement will probably bar you from double majoring.
