<p>Is it possible to switch into Chem E right away if I get in as Chemistry?</p>
<p>I remember from somewhere that you have to complete certain classes and maintain at least a 3.5 in those classes in order to submit a major change and be considered.</p>

<p>As you can see by looking at the UCLA engineering website page on changing majors, there are certain requirements and time enrolled at UCLA that must be satisfied before they will even consider it.</p>
<p>edit: I see from another one of your posts that you are a current CC student. The web page I referenced earlier explains what the rules are for transfers that want to change into an engineering major.</p>
