So I'm currently a sophomore and I'm in French 3. I picked French when I was in 6th grade just because the kids who took it always seemed to have a good time. It was really a bad decision and I've hated it ever since. I'm not doing that well and I don't like any of the kids in Honors French. I'd much prefer to learn Spanish but I'm afraid if I switch it would look bad for colleges. What should I do?

Take Spanish. If you’re not doing that well in French and you absolutely hate it, then switch to Spanish next year. I don’t see what’s wrong with taking multiple foreign languages; that might actually look better, especially if you get better grades in Spanish.

I agree with Kitten23. If you had three years in one language and two in another, that would look really impressive.
