Switching Majors (directed towards CPP current student or faculty)

<p>I heard from a friend that switching majors in the Cal Poly system was near impossible.</p>

<p>So I guess that’s my first question… is that rumor true?</p>

<p>If not, and if it is possible,
would it be easy to switch from</p>

<p>Chemical Engineering (Nanotechnology) to some kind of Computer Engineering/Science/Technology ??</p>

<p>I’m not trying to say that any Computers major is easy, but from what I know, it’s easier than Chemical Engineering.</p>

<p>And I’m not just thinking about changing because I want something “easier,” but because I am more interested in computers. I always have been.</p>

<p>I brought up the “Computers is easier than Chem E” point simply because it might make transferring easier?</p>

<p>I have no idea, I think I’m just rambling now.</p>

<p>if you’re switching to another engineering major you should be able to, my cousin was able to switch from mechanical to civil.</p>
