I go to school in Florida and is going to move to new jersey before junior year. I am scared of starting a new school and is worrying before having to take extra classes to graduate because I know each state have different graduation requirement.
You should have your Florida Guidance Counselor send a transcript to the GC at the school you will be attending in NJ. Then you can talk to the NJ GC on the phone and map out a plan for classes. Honestly, as long as you are taking classes in all core subjects (math, science, social studies, English, etc.), you should be fine.
Also wanted to say that you can look up High School graduation requirements for NJ online, that should be easy enough to find. Even look it up on your new high school’s website, or the district’s website.
NJ has a personal finance requirement…take economics and it will cover that.
