gave up waiting. My D was wait listed at school of drama
@hellofromtheoutside My D waitlisted for Pre-Law, she is almost giving up! I don’t know how the “wait” should be
Called again today. They said they’re “still working on enrolling kids…” Keep waiting, stay hopeful, enroll in your other school choice. My son is still confident he can get accepted. And I may not know your kids, but I am confident they will too
I feel for you all who are still waiting and at the edge of giving up. My D is still waiting still. I wonder what the process is? Does the school have a deadline for themselves? Hopefully, your S/D has a place to go come fall. Throwing positive energy out into the universe!
Thank you for the vote of confidence and the update @Dreece24. I hope that it is a good sign that we are still on the waitlist. This is my D’s only chance of a 4 year. Otherwise, it’s CC or gap year, then re-apply. (Casting a wider net 2nd time around.) keep hope alive!
I am on the waitlist for the iSchool and I’m PRAYING I get in. I’ve already accepted admission to Case Western Reserve University but Syracuse is my dream. Has anyone been accepted off the waitlist this late? I’m trying not to lose hope, but I’ve been waiting forever.
My daughter is still waitlisted. Ischool. Still hoping and praying… like @studygirl13, curious if anyone received an acceptance as of late.
Son received decision today: “We have finalized our fall enrollment and regret that we will not be able to offer you admission to Syracuse University at this time. However, should we find that we have additional space for this fall, we will contact you prior to August 1.”
Disappointing for him. He’s pretty demoralized at this moment, but will enroll in JMU in VA. If Syracuse decides to offer him a spot(highly unlikely now) he’ll be ecstatic, but I think it’s time to move forward. Good luck to all of you and your sons/daughters, I’m sure they’ll be successful wherever they go.
My D just got the same letter. Bye for now.
Well guys it’s a day later and I got the same letter as @dreece24 son. I’m really disappointed because I honestly can’t see how I was rejected. Syracuse has the highest acceptance rate out of all the school I applied to and got accepted to. I visited through their IT Girls program and perfected my application, but I guess I’m not good enough. I guess it’s Case Western in Cleveland for now. I will definitely try to transfer after my freshman year.
