Syracuse Class of 2026 Admissions

There is no reason to assume they are waiting and sending all rejections in later waves is there?

Correct. For some ā€˜Cuse has not released it yet. Give it a few days to a week to see if packages get uploaded. I will put it out there that last year at the height of the pandemic admission decisions and financial aid notifications were seriously delayed because staff was working remotely. Hopefully this is not the case this time around as the University has returned to in-person instruction.

Ours has a clickable link for 2023. It includes her scholarship and the federal loan offer, so the full package is listed.

My daughter was accepted to VPA for Fashion Design with a Deanā€™s Scholarship. Scholarship was in her acceptance letter, not home to get into her portal and look at financial aide page yet.
4.159 weighted, great ECs and Recs, 1220 SAT, 6 honors, 6 AP, 1 duel enrollment class, double legacyā€¦ :tangerine:

Did you get an email that the Financial Aid award was available or did you click on the link? I can click on the link but my sonā€™s is just blank, nothing there at all.

Son accepted into Sports Analytics but no mention of merit $.

My daughter got an email titled ā€œSU FIN AID AWARD NOTICEā€ letting her know her financial aid had been updated. When she clicks the link, both her merit and her aid are listed.

My daughter has not heard anything yet. This is from their website so more emails will be sent weekly. Keeping positive even though she hasnā€™t heard yet. Hoping to hear next week

Speaking of Financial Aid and Merit Scholarships, does anyone know if Syracuse stacks this (i think this is the rightt word). In other words. If my son would be entitled to a $30K need based grant and gets a $15K merit scholarship would he end up with $45K in grants or would they reduce the need based grant to $15K so he ends up with $30K? I am pretty sure my older sonā€™s school, UVM, just reduces the need based grant, making the Merit grant kind of pointless for those with Financial Aid.

For those posting this morningā€¦ did you just receive your email today? Or are you posting about yesterdayā€™s notification? We havenā€™t heard yet and wondering if we should just wrap our heads around waiting until next Fridayā€¦

We havenā€™t heard back either! I really hope we donā€™t have to wait to hear until next Friday! :weary:

We are waiting too and I really need to know if anyone who has heard has been rejected or waitlisted. Iā€™m worrying they saved rejections for later waves. Oh how I wish notices went out all at once

We are in the same boat. My D got deferred from ED2 basically due to my fault. I reviewed app and accidentally changed major request to something that made no sense. They fixed it and said on top of RD pile but with no email yesterday She is really starting to panic :frowning: We also got a change on the portal so her hopes were very very high yesterday which made not getting an email worse.

I was thinking the sameā€¦ rejected! Which would surprise me because my son has gotten into more competitive schools. Either way, weā€™ve known his acceptances from other schools (all EA) for so long- and we really canā€™t make a decision until we FINALLY hear back from Cuse

That is SO frustrating! Iā€™m happy to have parents that are in the same boat- but wish we all werenā€™t here. Iā€™m also stressing my son out because I keep reminding him to check his email! Heā€™s really not concerned or stressed- itā€™s just ME!

Was change in portal the update on financial aid section? Son was deferred ED1 so this has been hanging over his head since mid Dec. at this point I really just want them to tell him either way. He too has some acceptances to great schools one in particular more competitive but he want make a choice until his #1 Syracuse lets him know
