SYRACUSE TRANSFER STUDENT -- Chances?

Hey guys, so I’m currently finishing up my second semester at Syracuse as a Communication major. While I realized what I wanted to do career wise, I also realized how much of a bad fit this school was FOR ME (emphasis on the me part). =/ There are a lot of reasons behind it but I won’t really go into that (If you’re interested in applying there and want to ask me questions, please feel free to privately message me).

Anyways, I made the difficult decision to transfer and go for the schools I didn’t think I had a shot at in high school and follow what I am passionate about. During my time here, I’ve been involved with an online youth news site, where my articles get posted on an official site, and part of GenUN. I also held two jobs, one at the dining hall and at the Carrier dome (where concerts and games are held). My current GPA is 3.9 and I hold a scholarship as an undergrad. As for high school, I attended one of the best schools in New Jersey and studied under the Fashion Design and Merchandising program. There, I took all honors and APs, including some college courses. I’ve have my writing professor read my essay and have one stellar rec (I only think this because she told me that she was very proud to have me as a student and really felt honored to write it… and she took a long time reviewing it…lol). I guess I just want to know some input and see if anyone thinks I have a shot with transferring. I took some courses out of my interests to show some diversity and general academia (Calculus and Spanish Honors II). But I feel like I really showed a good common trend with my selections.

These are the schools I am/already applied to:

FIT (Fashion Institute of Technology): Advertising and Marketing Communication – AAS (Will receive a BS if I decide to stay after fulfilling associates degree requirements)

NYU: Media, Culture, and Communication

Fordham: Communication and Media Studies

Northeastern: Communication Studies

I also looked into Pace since I can easily commute to the city if living expenses are too much or do not work out. I thought about Temple because I originally was going to go there but got sucked in by the whole “name” thing.
I welcome all feedback! thanks!
