and how are syracuse Dorms?

suggestion: visit each and decide for yourself

whichever school you could get a higher GPA for med school and costs less…

I am by no means a science major, but I do know that SU offers a pre-med track. Does BU?

BU is known for grade deflation. If you wanted to go to med school, don’t go there! You will be hurting your chances.

According to US NEWS, Syracuse U is ranked higher than Boston U by 7 schools. Boston U has a great surrounding city and can offer many hands-on opportunities. Syracuse U is in NY, but is far upstate and snows A LOT. But the campus is incredible and both schools are loaded. Find out how much scholarships and grants you can receive from either school.

Hope that helped.

I second taxguy on the grade deflation issue at BU.

I visited BU as a HS senior and first, I wanted to live in a dorm where I could fit more than 2 people and I also wanted a campus. Hence, I picked SU.
Also, as a fellow pre-med/pre-dental student, the new Life Sciences Complex at SU is tough to ignore.

i know i saw the Life Science Building and its soooooooooooooo nice and the Chemistry building that just opened too i forgot the name, though.

i know i decided SU is soooooooo much better than BU. not only that, but i heard i f you attended the Syracuse Summer Program for HS Students(Which i am this summer as a rising senior) and apply early decision(def. am going to!), your a sure in. i have a 3.25 gpa UW and 3.47 W and 800+ Hours of Community Service, too to go along with that.

Niether.

Go somewhere else!
