So after much deliberation I’ve decided to pursue an MBA. I’m planning to go the online route because of the flexibility - I’m 45, and I’m usually at the office 10-12 hours a day, so the thought of driving to a local university after work and sitting in a class for another two hours (or more) is not very appealing. I have 20 years of professional experience, a Master’s degree in Information Systems, and an undergrad in Accounting.
The online MBA programs at Syracuse and Washington State appear to be similar. Also, both schools will likely waive the GMAT requirement based on my work experience and previous graduate degree. By the way, cost is not a factor as my employer will be paying – thank God, because my son is also in college (LOL). Does anyone one have any personal experience with either of these programs? If so, please share. Also, any thoughts about either school from a reputation standpoint (nationally)? Are there any other online MBA programs that I should consider?
