sdbrenn…It is very common to be undecided but admitted to your chosen school(s). DD did not choose her Newhouse major until second semester sophomore year. She did not take any Whitman major courses until her first semester sophomore year.

Funfatdaddy - I am in the same situation. Accpted, but no mention of merit money in the letter. Can I ask what your daughters stats were?
@luvthejerseyshore We may be in the same boat. My son did not get merit scholarship but got grant money. Which is great. I just fear they could pull the grant money away over time and scholarship is guaranteed. I’m excited for my son but scared as well

@luvthejerseyshore…Nothing about merit $ was mentioned in the 2013 acceptance letter for my daughter. It was sent in a separate email that came the following week. Not sure how SU is handling merit notification today.

@luvthejerseyshore…DD had a 4.24 weighted gpa. Mostly honors and AP courses. 27 ACT. 30M, 27E. National EC awards. My daughter is thriving at SU. Doing extremely well academically at Cuse with study abroad, paid internships, and lots of ECs. She loves it!

Does anyone know exactly when the second wave of decisions will be released? I know it is by January 1st, but is there an exact date anyone knows of the way people knew of last Friday?
