<p>Oh my God. I knew a lot of my friends are finding out their Early Decision results tomorrow so I decided to check out if Syracuse had confirmed/denied whether or not theyāre going to be releasing decisions on the 15th as well. I just sat here reading all of the responses and I canāt tell if I feel more at ease or wayyyy more anxious because tomorrow may/may not/who the hell knows be the day. I applied Early Decision to Newhouse and Iām from DC. I hope we all get our emails (with acceptances) soon (tomorrow). </p>
<p>Hi, everyone. I applied to the school of Arts & Sciences and Iām extremely nervous.
My SAT is only a 1590 and I have 3.3 GPA because I didnāt do as well my freshman and sophomore year, but since then I have taken honors class and all of my classes this year are AP. I also am a dual enrollment student at a local community college and the rest of my class are taken there. Iāve cheered all four years of high school and am now captain of our varsity team this year. In addition, I work at the fire department, Iām an explorer at Maine Medical Center, Iāve been working for a few years now during the winter and summer landscaping, and I do some volunteer work.
My aunt graduated from Syracuse a few years ago and she loved it. I went for another visit there in November and and it was so beautiful! Not much longer until we find out. Good luck to everyone!</p>

<p>I did around 250 words because that was the limit other schools had for theirs. I think itās fine. </p>
<p>You kids crack me up! My son applied to SU too and reading your posts and feeling your anxiety, excitement and joy is a good feeling. Sorry itās so stressful. I didnāt have to social media and websites to visit in the 80ās to share and vent. Good luck to all of you as you begin your journey. I grew up just outside of Syracuse and bleed Orange even though I have moved. I, too, am hoping for good news for my son this month.</p>
<p>@Nick428 Each of my supplemental essays were over 400 words. Since there was no word limit, I think they are looking more at the quality of your writing and your thoughtfulness. </p>
