*Syracuse University ED 2019*

But then karma would get them and they wouldn’t get in… @Zach1997‌

My college counselor just told me she heard Decemeber 15th is the day…

This back and forth is crazy hahaha. I’m really hoping today is the day, I can hardly focus in school at all.

@jkantread Do you know where she heard that from? I’ve been speaking to the rowing coach and he was under the impression that admission were supposed to be sent out on Friday which shows that there is definitely not much clarity even on the campus.

@carverjj1409‌ she said she talked to the admissions office at Syracuse and they said that decisions would begin on the 15th. That’s also what I was told during my interview.

Guys, check your spam mail just in case

I’m honestly losing my mind haha. I don’t think I’ve ever refreshed my email this much

Im still convinced they are slowly released from today until Friday. That is still the best source I’ve heard

I am going insaneeeee

I just received an email from DHL saying I have a notice coming from Syracuse. This happened with my sister 2 years ago and she found out later on the same day! I’m an international student so I’m not sure if it is different but I’m pretty sure its going to be today!!

Currently in marketing class and very thankful for being able to have access to a computer!!

In regard to @sarahmio‌ 's comment, the same thing happened last year and students began finding out the same day…

I’ve heard international students get their notice first. Wish you the best! @sarahmio‌

Good luck @sarahmio‌ !! Keep us posted :)

Good luck @sarahmio‌ !!

im not sure who is wondering this, but i just called in and they said that all schools within syracuse are finding out on the same day! so i guess there are no waves this year?

I don’t know if notices will start today but I think I got some insight this past weekend as to why it seems to be later this year.

I was told by someone at SU, not in admissions, that they MAY have gotten behind because they are located in the building where there was a student protest a few weeks ago and they took over the building with a large sit in. People in the building were able to go to work, but it had to be a bit disruptive. Again, MAY have gotten behind. Also, don’t worry, it was your typical very peaceful college protest/sit in.

@rick44‌ - you’re right about the protest (im a freshman at su, did ED so i totally get what you feel) but they did not get held up because of them. you’ll probably get the email today or if not on friday (they usually send them in on friday after the office closes)
good luck to all of you!!!

So, do you guys think the notification for international students mean that only they will be receiving their email today or do you think it could signify everyone’s?

I think it could be some today @carverjj1409‌
