I have a 3.7 and an 1150 SAT (bad I know…) all honors, only one AP. Lots of EC’s as well and I think a pretty good essay. My girlfriends dad received his doctorate from SU, too, and he wrote me a letter of recommendation. 
Think my chances are good???
Up until this morning under financial aid on myslice there was nothing. Just checked now and 2018 is there under “select aid year” but there is no information yet. I’m guessing they’re preparing to put that out later today as well as acceptances!!! Anyone else have this on there MYslice account???
@Salvalvo -Yes I just check on myslice and it is stating the same as what you just stated!! Hopefully we will find out today!!
my myslice includes 2018 as well! crossing my fingers that Arts and Sciences hears back today!!
I also noticed yesterday morning that there was a line for ‘2018 financial aid’, but no aid information yet…coming soon i hope (as i check for the 10th time today, lol!)
I noticed that change to Financial Aid section yesterday as well.
I have that tab too.
I also keep checking the Admittance Acceptance Form link hoping that will show something before the actual email comes. So far, no luck!

my myslice has somewhat of a different layout in addition to the aid year of 2018 being added… has anyone else noticed this? it’s giving me an option to search for classes in the top right corner. I’m not sure if my wifi is glitching or if it’s preparing to release a decision!
Yes, I can search for classes now but not sure if I had access to that before. I’m not sure I ever tried.
Hmm. My son’s myslice has the financial aid line for 2018, but no class search option in the upper right corner of the screen. There’s a class search option in the box to the left of the financial aid/application box, but it’s always been there, and takes us to a catalog for 2016-17. Also, the 2018 financial aid line says “you have no financial awards at this time.” Anyone else have that? Tea leaves = so confusing.
Does it mean something if I don’t have this update? I applied to Newhouse.
*Actually I might have this update if I click on financial aid there is no awards for 2018 and I can search for classes. Maybe it’s just a general update if we all have this.
@fourteenwords I have the same thing. I’m trying not to read too much into it.
