T-P, AOF and Salisbury

OK, for anyone who has kids at these schools - here's the big question from my son. How does he get to see girls and what do they do on the weekends for fun??

I know for AOF they see the girls from Ms Porters school all the time. I have a friend that goes to MPS.

OT but congrats to salisbury for the big win this weekend!

Yeah...AOF is right near Miss Porter's. There's dances for the single-sex schools in the area throughout the year hosted by all the different schools so you can see girls there, too.

At Salisbury, boys are bussed to Miss Porter's, Emma Willard, and a host of other girls' and co-ed boarding schools. They also bring the girls into Salisbury for dances as well. These dances have names such as.."Tea Dances" and "Mixers". Sometimes schools will host numerous girls schools for a dance, and they invite the other boys schools to come and enjoy the dance as well.

There are plenty of opportunities to see girls and be with girls. You get so much vacation time as well.
Salisbury has road trips into Boston & New York City for museums and theater. For top notch concerts they go to Waterbury,Hartford, or New Haven neither of which is too far. A student can organize this themselves by getting a faculty member on board who gets a school van, or if large numbers are interested they bring a Salisbury bus.

Warriorboy, I know that all the schools you mentioned operate the way I have described Salisbury . Imo you should revisit, talk to teachers and especially coaches about their schools, Sniff out mentors for the next four years, and figure out where you feel the most comfortable. Spend a night in the dorms. My son did that and that's what closed the deal on Salisbury. All of these schools have been in the business for a long time and do their jobs very well.
