Hi, I am currently entering my 2010 fall semester and only have 29 Transferable Units. Am I in deep trouble or will I still be able to sign TAG. I am doing 17 units this semester and 14 upcoming spring. The schools I want to go to with TAG are UCSD, UCI, UCR.

Isn’t the minimum 30 units by the time you sign it? Read the agreement online. I’m not eligible because I’m not taking the transferable math class this semester. Besides, if you are not eligible to sign it, hopefully you have a high GPA and will have nothing to worry about since the transfer rates to those schools are 60%+

Most of the schools dont require a paper contract anymore. As long as you meet the requirements (available on assist.org) you have TAG

a contract is still better though, right?

depends on the school you want to transfer to. Some schools dont even require contracts…

The agreement is binding with or without the contract. Dont stress I go to PCC and they dont even write them for most school anymore.

Okay so my GPA is currently a 3.48 entering fall semester at my community college. How am I looking so far. Also is TAG a one contract with one school only? Is my GPA looking good if I applied without TAG? IGETC will be completed during spring. The majority of my pre-reqs will be don this fall.
