TAG Course Prerequisites -- Do I have to finish the additionally approved ones too?

I’m a bit new to the TAG system, and I want to plan my schedule accordingly. I am attending a CCC and hoping to TAG to UCI as a Public Health Sciences Major. On top of the general transfer requirements and “major preparation courses required for transfer,” do I have to complete the additionally approved ones too, like OChem?

According to the Assist Website, you need one year of gen chem and bio, and complete three courses selected from the following: Anthropology, Economics, Social Ecology, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and/or International Studies. I am on track to complete all of these plus the math requirement, but not OChem. If I TAG do I need to take OChem as well to fulfill the TAG requirements? Thanks!

This is the assist link: https://assist.org/transfer/report/23442998

If you look directly on the UCI website, it also says that the required courses for Public Health Sciences are 1 year each of gen chem and bio: https://www.admissions.uci.edu/apply/transfer/requirements.php . It also looks like they specifically want you to take Calculus 1 to fulfill the math requirement.

You do not have to take the extra courses that you see on the assist.org agreement for admission purposes, but you might as well if you have time since they are classes that you will have to take after you transfer anyways.
