Take a chance take a chance on me UIUC!

Hey everyone,

What are my chances for University of Illinois Champaign?

For the longest time I've wanted to go to UIUC because it has everything I need and its an awesome school. One problem though, my grades aren't the greatest. However here is my resume I guess you could say and let me know what you think. I don't apply till next year tho.

White Caucasian Male
Junior in high school
Class Rank 109/218
GPA: 3.22---which is a 3.45 GPA on a 4.0 scale. (My school uses a weird scale)

I already took the ACT this past summer and got a 23(composite). I'm looking to improve to a 26-28 tho.

HS Courses:
I took AP US History last year and got a 4 on the AP Test. At the moment I am taking AP Biology. Also, I am planning on taking four years of Spanish, English, and Math.

Extracurricular's:
Football
Basketball (Freshman year)
Radio club
Key Club
FCA
DeMolay
Certified Soccer Referee
I also maintain a blog for my high school on local athletics.

I'm planning on Majoring computer science or engineering. Also I am working on attaining an Air Force ROTC scholarship

Also some of the other schools on my list are:
University of Iowa
Iowa Sate University
University of Missouri @ Columbia

What do you think? Thanks in advance!

University of Iowa- low Reach/high match
Iowa Sate University- match
University of Missouri @ Columbia- high match
UIUC- High Reach (instate), Very High Reach (OOS)

my brother is a senior at UIUC for engineering and he had a 4.0 weighted gpa and a 31 on the ACT so idk about the engineering dept because it's so competitive and you will def have to raise your ACT score. If you apply, maybe just go w/ general or some other major thats easier to get into. Also it definitely depends on if your in-state or out of state. I live in Illinois and about 250 ppl from my school apply there every year so im really competing against my own classmates and U of I pretty much accepts the top 10% at my school (all at 4.0 gpa or above, about 150 kids). They take a lot of out of state and international students though so if your OOS you still have a chance. I've talked to a dean of admissions there (for business, but like engineering is really competitive) and they really emphasized that they take a holistic approach and want well-rounded kids, not just ones with a great ACT score.
