If I take AP im not guaranteed an credit, but if I take English 101 I am garanteed a credit. What should I do?

Is it AP English Literature or AP English Lang?

If it’s Lit, take AP. If not, it doesn’t matter and you can take either.

Just take honors. Seriously.

Do you have to pay for the credit in English 101?
Because in my school we have something like this, except we have to pay $100.

Im taking literature, i took ap language last year and i wonder if colleges will belittle me if i take english 101 and get the guaranteed credit

It’s far from guaranteed that a University will take a community college credit. Some do (usually same-state public Universities), some don’t (think Harvard), some don’t for some classes (NYU doesn’t for writing) but do for others, or just take a set amount of credits (up to 24, up to 32, all the way to up to 60). Where is this credit guaranteed?

Ap is 80 dollars for the test, the enlgish 101 class is free

Your school makes you pay for the AP test? Harsh.

I dont know where its guaranteed, at it’s its not a community college class, its an actuall college class

English 101 is not guaranteed but most colleges to take AP English Lit credits.

Hm, explain what you mean by a college class. Where is it taught, and who is guaranteeing it to be transferable to every university?
