Taken ACT twice....last time in December. How to prepare?

I took the ACT last year and just this year (October) again. This is how I faired:

June 2006
Composite: 30
English: 29
Mathematics: 33
Reading: 28
Science: 29

October 2006
Composite: 31
English: 32
Mathematics: 32
Reading: 30
Science: 29

As you can see, jumps in English and Reading, which made me really happy :)

Went down in Math, but I predicted this - I really felt a time crunch in October, not sure why.

Science stayed the same...even though I though I did better.

I have two more practice tests in the Real ACT book....ready to start cracking them more. I don't really feel like buying a second book....any other ways to prepare?

Aiming for a 32-34 come December, but I'll be happy if I get a 32. This seems reasonable, right?

I'm in the same situation you are...except I took the ACT twice in a row on Sept and Oct, and now going into Dec. I scored a 28 both times even though I thought that I improved alot on the practice tests... Then again I was using older versions (2003, 2004) so the new layout surprised me a bit and the new math covered a few more things like matrices. I thought the Oct test was more difficult than the Sept one
Check your local library, they might have some ACT prep books and they'll work even if they're old. I think we just need more practice
