I am taking two history classes one of western civilization the other world history. I knew they would have some similarities. But the syllabus is exactly the same and where covering samd material with different books . His lecture was word for word the same. Idk what to do i need both courses to transfer should i just stick with it? The classes are back to back so its a good schedule

Maybe you should talk to the professor and see what he thinks? There’s a chance the material will branch off later, or that you could get in trouble for taking the same class twice. Or if you’re lucky (and they are the same), maybe you can get away with getting credit twice for the same class. :P

Well the studying and testing should be easier. Do you need to take both classess for your major? Or can you take something else that you need as well that would be more interesting. It seems a little redundant to spend your time and money to take the same class back to back.

@Faliure622 i emailed him i was a bit nervoud i would get in trouble even though thry are different courses
@momtotwins tther is a part 2 of each class i could take but there night classes. N i already bought my books

You should talk to an academic advisor about the feasibility of taking something else. Hopefully it’s not too late to drop one.

Professor emailed me back be said i could take both at the same time. But he told me im going to be bored taking it with the same teacher. I could try to add a Saturday class with a different teacher but my school id ovrr crowded it might not happen
