Taking 4 AP classes junior year??

I will be taking:

~AP English Language & Composition
~AP Art history
~AP U.S History
~AP Statistics
~PAP Pre Calculus
~PAP Physics
~PAP French III
~Health Science I

**PAP stands for Pre Ap, which is like an honors class

**I'm really confident about French because I am amazing at that language.

**Health science is pure easy memorization. So is APUSH, last year in APWH i literally just studied the textbook outlines online and made an A on the test( our teacher was pretty bad too ) maybe i can do that in APUSH?

** AP stats, I hear, is a joke.

**I don't really know about pre calc. I was horrible at geometry, but amazing at algebra. Is pre calc more algebra thinking oriented? Or is it more critical thinking?

** How hard is AP Art history?

** What about physics? I heard it's a lot of math; I liked doing math stuff in chemistry last year, so would it be fun for me?

** What about AP Lang? I'm not the best writer, but I really enjoyed practicing the MC questions at the end of the year of english II; which made me want to join AP. I also think that I can become a better writer with this class. Has anyone improved upon their writing skills with AP Lang, that weren't previously good??

And most importantly, do you guys think this schedule is doable??

Any input will be appreciated :)

Yes it’s doable. Anything in HS academically is doable.

This schedule is doable, but I should probably mention that Physics is a lot more math than chemistry.

Much of your answer depends on your previous track record at school. What classes have you taken so far? What were your grades? This schedule is easily doable for some, but could be a disaster for others. If you have taken 1 or 2 APs in the past, taking 4 is not a problem because you know what to expect. If you are jumping into 4 with no past experience, it could be a really tough year.

If you are unsure at all, I suggest getting the study guides in the summer and looking at them to have an early edge.

Finally, you have three classes that have a significant amount of math (Stat, Pre-calc, physics). If you are slow at solving problems (even if you are capable) this could make your workload brutal.

Good luck.

Well i took both geometry and algebra 2 last year, and got 85 or so for geometry, and for algebra i usually got 95 +. For french it was the same, nothing below a 95. With chemistry, I completely aced the stoichiometry unit. I would consider my self pretty fast at solving math problems, if i know the concept. For english i usually got anything in the B range, but at the end of the year I achieved an A, because I actually really though out the essays and other things we had to do. AP World, was a breeze; We never did anything in class and all i had do was read the textbook outlines and I would get and A.

If you are “amazing”, then you should get an A/A+ easy.
