Those all sound like classes with a pretty heavy reading/writing component, but as long as that’s something that you’re ok with, I don’t see it being that bad of a course load.

So sorry, I don’t have an answer to your question, I’m just really interested in one of your classes. What is “Sociology of the Black Experience”? That sounds like a really fun and interesting class! What college do you go to?

That Spanish 2 class will definitely be your hardest class. Be ready for that. Honestly, I would probably drop one of the humanities course. You can pass all those classes, but It might be difficult to keep a 4.0 with 6 classes.

@zombiedante- unfortunately the syllabus isn’t up for that class yet, but from the title alone I’m really looking forward to it I go to st johns university in Queens, NY.

With Spanish, I’ve been self-studying alot so I’m sure I’m going to get an A in the class. If I were to drop a class it would be philosophy, but I really do want to keep all my classes. I’m pleased with my schedule.

Having a full course load can be a good thing. You already know you don’t have a lot of time to waste so you won’t be tempted to procrastinate. Stay on top of your reading and other assignments and you’ll be fine.

If you’re prepared to do the work for those classes, I don’t think it’s a bad idea at all. I always preferred to load up on classes. Just check out the syllabuses when they are available and keep the drop deadline in mind. If it seems like an unreasonable workload, drop one.
