taking a gap after 12th and chances of getting into one of the US colleges by giving SAT

<p>hi !! i passed my 12th std from cbse board wid 83% best of four in science . i decided to drop an year and prepare for the competitive exams. i am taking coaching at one of the institutes and i was recently told about the SAT so i wanted to know if i'll be able to appear for SAT and what are the chances for me to get one of the colleges in abroad?</p>

<p>And what is the difficulty level in SAT? and taking coaching for getting high scores is recommended or not ?</p>

<p>Gap year is not a problem unless you justify it. If you want to study in US take SAT very seriously.</p>
