I’m taking AP Macroeconomics (1st semester) and AP Microeconomics (2nd semester) online through my state’s virtual high school.
My questions are, how hard are both of these classes? I’ve never taken an online AP class before and I’m kind of worried because I won’t have an actual teacher around to help me whenever I need it. Are these two classes easy to understand? How difficult is the math? And the graphs, charts, etc? What kind of math skills do you need other than being able to read charts and such?
Kids in my school frequently test out of regular economics (my school doesn’t offer AP Econ so that’s why I’m taking it online) over the summer to free up their schedule, so I’m going to assume Econ isn’t that difficult if people are able to self study it themselves, but I’m not sure if AP is a step up from normal economics classes.
If you’ve already taken either class, how easy was it for you, and what was your grade?? I need to get an A in both classes, so do you suggest I buy a book to help me along? I’m not sure if I’m going to take either AP test yet, but what’s the best book for the material?
