I have the option of taking the virtual high school course in AP economoics free, because of a school grant. For anyone who has taken a similiar online course, did you get anything out of it. I am not sure if this is the right forum, but w/e

I am taking AP Microeconomics with Florida Virtual School, and it is an excellent course. Our school has AP Micro in the first semester, but I think I will do better on the exam by taking it 2nd semester. I have found that online AP courses do a great job of sticking to what is actually on the AP exam. Sometimes it is a lot of work and reading, but the concepts aren't too hard for me. If you do end up taking the course, I would recommend buying the Princeton Review book for Macro/Micro to go along with it. Just make sure not to get behind- sometimes I do and end up doing a week's work in one night (this doesn't help with learning the material, so I try to do a little bit each night now).

I think Im going to take it, I just dont want to end up with more homework from this than the rest of my classes. I like my free time.

I am taking AP Gov, AP Art Hist, AP Bio, and AP Lang at flvs. If you wanna discuss assignments together, feel free to PM or AIM me.

How is AP Bio? I'm doing AP Gov, AP Art History, and AP Microecon with FLVS. I'm thinking about doing AP Bio next year.

@sevendust sorry I’m like 8 years late haha. How did those courses work out? Does FLVS prepare you well for the exam?
