Class scheduling is going on right now and I’m leaning towards taking all three of the following for senior year: AP Phys C: Mechanics, AP Stats, & Multivariable Calc/Linear Alg. I’m in Calc BC right now and I’m doing well. I pick up math concepts fairly easily, but I’m wondering if this might be too math-heavy for one year. Should I drop AP Stats, or do you think this would be doable?
(bump)
I think you should drop stats only because your schedule won’t be balanced with 3 math-heavy classes. If you get a 5 on your BC calc exam you’ll get credit for 2 math classes anyway at most schools-- which would cover most schools’ distribution requirements…
@redpoodles Yeah you have a point. I was mainly interested because a few people I know have already taken stats, and I was interested in learning more about the subject. I’m thinking of signing up for it, and then dropping it at the beginning of the year if I end up not wanting to take it. Thanks for the advice
