<p>Are people allowed to take the APs after they graduate high school? I graduated for the class of 2010 but I'll be taking a gap year so I want to study for them until the upcoming May. Am I allowed to take them?</p>

<p>AP courses are college courses, so taking an AP Exam would arguably be the same as taking an final exam for that course in college. Exams in college are harder than AP exams though.</p>
