Taking classes out of personal interest...

How do colleges look at classes outside of a student's chosen curriculum that were taken at a previous college due to personal interest? I know the credits would not transfer, but are those classes evaluated at all? Could they help push an admissions decision, especially if the grades are good?

Thanks.

If the credits don't transfer then I don't think the courses matter for much of anything,

if you fail those classes or somethign then theyll raise an eyebrow.
