In 2016, the SAT’s will go back to the 1600 scale format, leaving the class of 2017 (including myself) in a difficult situation between choosing the current, 2400 scale SAT or the new one. I want to take the 2400 one in winter and take it again fall of senior year but, I would have to take the 1600 one if I take it again. What should I do?

As someone in the class of 2017, I’ve signed up for the October SAT, and I might take it again before they change it. However, I’m also signed up for “new” SAT in March in case I do better on that exam.
