Is this too intense? My parents are freaking out but I think it's managable, considering the fact that all my other days I only have one or two classes.

For just one day it’s not too terrible, but it can still be exhausting. I would try to include more than just a 30 minute break in there. Most college cafeterias are so crowded (especially in the 12 o’clock hour) that you won’t be able to walk to the dining hall, order food, sit down and eat, and walk to class all in 30 minutes.

I’d try to add an hour break in there somewhere, and then this won’t be too bad for just one day a week.

I did four classes a day my first semester and it wasn’t bad, but I was really tired after my last class. Five would be hard but I agree about trying to find a break in there.

That seems exhausting to me. It’s definitely doable, but you’ll be tired at the end and not want to do anything. It might also be a deadly combination around midterms/finals.

Thanks for the answers, guys. I decided to take out my later English class and replace with a Psych class on different days. Pretty satisfied with my schedule now.

I did that for a year, and it’s doable but it’s hell. My last semester, I only had one class on Wednesday, then I had five on Tuesday Thursdsay and that was it-- Monday/Friday off. Only the first and last classes of the day T/R were required and I ended up frequently skipping the two or three in the middle to pass out because it was too much. Make sure you have enough time to break for lunch and for bathroom breaks. I have accidentally scheduled myself without both in the past and it was most unfortunate. :P

My Wednesday is going to kind of being like. But it’s basically straight from 8:30-1:20, then a lab starting at 2:50. So, I’m convinced that house and a half break will be what saves my sanity.

Seems manageable, I have a Mondays schedule that is similar but then have a late class until 9pm. Like you, other days are light when not factoring in work study.

I know one girl who decided to schedule all five of her classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. o.O The plus side of that is she has no classes on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays, but the downside is so much on those two days.

I wish engineers could schedule days off. I don’t think its possible at umich. I’m not 100% sure, but with labs and everything it seems always pretty spread out

I almost got the same schedule but I got like an hour for lunch, the only hard part about your schedule is that you gonna feel sleepy in that 2 hour class haha.

I did five classes on Tuesday last semester!!! It wasn’t hard, but I was very tired at the end, yet somehow Tuesday was always my most productive night!
