My son is a junior at FSU. My daughter, who is in high school, would really like to visit him and attend the FSU-UF game over Thanksgiving weekend. Does anybody know the details about taking non-student guests to games, especially big games like this? It would be great if he could get a student ticket from a friend who won't be in town for the game, but I don't know if that is allowed. Thanks!

Everyone wants tickets for the FSU-UF games. Your son may or not be able to purchase a student guest ticket for his sister. I just ordered my student ticket for the Clemson game which is also a high ticket demand ticket. My student ticket was no charge; additional student guest tickets for Clemson game were $70 each with limit of 2 guest tickets. Students use their FSU Card id’s for admission at gate–the guest ticket is delivered by email and then printed on paper to use at stadium gate. Less crowded games guest tickets are usually cheaper.

Thank you, Tallalassie!

The “saving grace” so to speak with the UF game is that it’s on Thanksgiving weekend, so a lot of students may not be in town to go, which could help in allowing more guest tickets to be purchased.

Be prepared though to pay likely $75+. Given that Clemson is $70, and I would expect UF tickets to cost more that, I think that tickets will most likely end up at least that much.

Student tickets this year are all on FSUCard magstrips, which means that in order to use a friend’s ticket, you’d have to have their ID.

There will not be any guest tickets available for the FSU/UF game and it’s stated on our ticket site.

Do many students stay on campus for Thanksgiving? Specifically, in Landis.
