Taking Spring off before transferring help

<p>I will have 60+ semester units finished at my CC by the end of this December. IGETC. And TAG. I've been going to CC for 2 1/2 years now..compared to the usual 2 btw</p>

<p>I plan on working from January 2012 to August 20012 (eight or so months straight, full-time) before I head out to a UC. I was told to explain why i'm not taking any classes for spring in the "educational gap" page on the application.</p>

<p>Should I just explain what I told you guys on the form? Also, does this educational gap affect our chances of admission in anyway?</p>

<p>Yes. However, you should make sure that there aren’t any additional courses that you could be taking to further your major preparation.</p>

<p>I think some schools require you to still be enrolled in classes the spring prior to transfer. Double check the schools you’ve applied to and make sure.</p>
