taking the SAT four times...

Hi all:

I was rejected from Columbia University (CC) this year but would definitely love to obtain a chance to transfer in as a sophomore. Heres the deal, to this date I have taken the SAT reasoning test 3 times of which my highest score was 2110. I think I can really do well If i try one more time with adequate practice. I'm also considering the ACT as well. So will taking the SAT four times negatively affect my chances of admission as a transfer?..should I just take the ACT instead and forget about the SAT?

Also, I know that a high gpa is pretty much mandatory along with extracurriculars and recommendations, but will a high SAT/ACT score give me a boost in the process considering I manage to score a 2250+ and a 34+ ?

bump

10chars

Your freshman grades will matter more, now that you are a transfer applicant instead of a freshman applicant.

No - spend that study time on your classes. Columbia won’t care about 100 points on the SAT 1 for a transfer student.

ok thanks guys
