Taking the SAT Repeatedly - Looks Bad?

Hi!

I just learned Stanford does not allow Score Choice. I've taken the SAT 4 times (and am happy with my current score), but worry that having taken it so many times (particularly when my first score was poor by Stanford's standards) will cost me.

Have students with less-than-stellar earlier SAT scores gotten into Stanford?

Also, I'm confused by SAT reporting vs SAT Subject Test reporting. How can I 'not use score choice' and submit all reasoning test scores, and then choose specific subject test scores to report (since Stanford is subject test optional)?

You should be fine. I took the ACT 7 times, but I started back in 7th grade.

As for the reporting question, each subject test is considered a different test, even though they may have been taken in the same day. Because you have to option to send them, you can send in none, just one, or as many as you would like.
