Ok, I promise this is the last language related question from me!
The university doesn’t offer an Arabic placement test, and I recently decided to take Arabic as opposed to Spanish. I know this is a dumb question that should be obvious, but I’m just nervous: if I take the Spanish placement test, I can still choose a different language to take, right? I will be in the RC.

I want to start a rumor that there is some room somewhere that they drag students kicking and screaming who have the audacity to take a placement test and then not take the actual course. 
@jeremyj I actually laughed! Yeah, I know it sounds stupid and soooo obvious, but I guess the question was directed more toward the RC because the RC requires the exam, but the general LSA website says only to worry about it if you’re continuing the language.
