I am going to be attending TAMU in the Fall of 2015 and I plan on taking a pre-med track. Currently, I am a chemistry major but I really want to change it. I hope to attend Medical School in the next 4 years and I know they focus on two main things: GPA and MCAT. Therefore, I want to choose a major that will help me towards the MCAT but won’t bring my GPA down entirely. I am debating on these 4 majors: biology, biochemistry, psychology, or applied sciences. Any thoughts? Level of difficulty? Recommendations for other majors?
