Tamu Transfer Fall 2022

Howdy! I wanted some insight on my chances for upcoming transfer admission for fall 2022. It’s been a long road and I still have a little more to go, but I want a head start and to know if I have a chance! So I am an Education major currently at Blinn and I also have dual credits from back home. In total I have 35 credits from lonestar but blinn only took 27 so not sure if A&M will do the same or take all of them. From blinn I have 13 credits from last year, and will have 12 credits this semester and then 6 credits after spring 2022. So in total, I will have 58-79 credits depending on if A&M will just take the same 27 credits blinn took or all 35 from lonestar. Should I just send in my Blinn transcript when it’s time to apply or do I send my Blinn and Lonestar? Also, for education is says the max hours is 60-PREFERRED, so would I be ok either way credit hours wise? I stumbled hard when covid and online learning began, but I’m working really hard now in my classes and am on the right track to get it back up. I have a 2.7 currently, will this effect my chances of getting in if it stays at that or only goes up a little bit? The minimum is 2.5. I have/am currently taking all of the required courses based on the new degree plan and also have fulfilled or am currently working on the first 2 year credits on the degree plan. A few of the core credits A&M has in the plan are covered by my dual credits, is this ok? I have made sure that they all count towards the core credits and are acceptable! Overall I am a really good student, I work my way through college and haven’t stopped working since I turned 16. I absolutely love children and that reflects on my previous and current work experiences. I plan on having a letter of recommendation from one of my education professors, I want to attach my resume, and then of course am already planning my essay! Anyone have any insight for a hopeful future Aggie? @AggieMomhelp or anyone else!
