It's not only scholarships, Cor; it's also school. x.x And right now, I'm freaking sick. urgh.

Yes Sheep. In any case, use Fedex. They are great.

Well, tako, my school charged FIVE dollars for a transcript. Well, unless you're a senior; then they're free.

You don't have to write about your EC's unless you really want to. Writing style can be very misleading, by the way. Our factota told us that what came across from our essays was sometimes REALLY different than what came across from our actually being there. Personally, they were scared I would cause trouble or something, which was just really odd, in my eyes. But hey, sure, sure, Miss Aida, The One Woman Rebellion. Rock on.

"On the subject of an essay orgy: At TASP, I think one of the ways we got to know each other at first was by asking what we wrote our essays on"
Oh JEEZ, Bre! As I read that line, I thought you were going to see that one of the ways we got to know each other was by having an orgy!!! dies Anyway. On the first day, we sat in a circle and said our names, where we came from, and a poignant childhood memory. "poignant" turned into "painful," pretty soon, though. XD Lots of people that were bitten by dogs, others that fell from trees, etc. ^^ Oh, and we played "Guess My Ethnicity" lmao. That was amusing. Then, we said our names again with an adjective, so we could remember each other. I don't remember what I picked... but I know I said "Hey, really, call me whatever you want. If I know you mean me, I'll answer. Heck, you can even call me Snugglebunny."

Thanks to that, one of the TASPers always referred to be as Snugglebunny. XD

Abbreviate it "critnal!"

"tasp just seems like a huge orgy altogether, intellectually and emotionally and mentally. which provides the motivation for me to write these essays." Dude. That's exactly it.

Though no one asked me, I felt like sharing. Why did I INITIALLY want to go to TASP? "OMG THIS IS FREE!!!" :P There you have it. Aside from that, the topics seemed really interesting, I wanted to travel during the summer and get out of my house, and making friends would be awesome. I didn't really know much about it when I applied.

Crimson12, indeed. I would NEVER, EVER, EVER say any TASPer I have met has been superficial, jealous, and/or petty.

"Aida I (we) miss you. Be done with scholarships." Awww! :D

HAHAHAHA. Indelible! dies Sorry, TASP joke. A guy wrote on his goodbye letters to some people stuff like "You have left an indelible Aida-shaped hole in my heart." XD

Someone once described TASP as "the most glorious sleep deprivation of your life"... or something along those lines. And it's totally true.

Sleep is great; who here loves dreaming? raises hand Sleep is awesome, BUT... it's so time-consuming. It makes me feel unproductive. XD Right now, I'm totally falling asleep. And I have to deal with Scholastic and Swarthmore. WAH!

Haha, oh dear, Cor. Seeeeee why it's good to procrastinate? Or at least not send things in til' the last couple of minutes? :P

"am i the only one researching the names of factota of certain programs (old blog posts, articles, etc.)? im looking for anything that might sway me in favor of Cornell I or Austin, lol. oh and btw i think ive found it. or have i gone overboard?" Can you say STALKER? Yes, yes I can. :P I know some of the factota, woop de doop! I know Paul Benecki, Noah Rosenblum, and Linda Louie. Bwahaha!

Yes, Directorscut. An all-nighter means you go crazy and not sleep and then start gnawing on people's heads. The first time I did it was in December, methinks. I've done it this year, too.

"Ooh, that brings up a question for previous TASPers. How is the computer/internet situation? Do people bring their own computers, or what?"
Depends on where you stay. The Cornell house had about 4 PC's, but people still brought their laptops. They're honestly really handy, so if you have one, take it with you. Saves you the trouble of waiting for a comp to free up on essay-writing nights. ;P At other TASPs, they had to go to a computer lab...on campus? I think? Anyway. There are PCs on campus, yeah, so you can use those too.

I'm sleepy. I'm gonna nap for a bit, then get on my Swat essay. Then, Scholastic! And stuff. x.x
