@serendipitousli Actually, we will be notified about interviews in March. I don’t remember where I read this, but somewhere around 120 people will get the interview. And the final 64 will be notified in April.

@serendipitousli The main reason why I think this thread got so long was because everyone procrastinated together and the whole shared folder shebang (LOL we totally went a bit over the top)

@hope469 It was kind of stressful at the beginning, but the folder was actually pretty awesome. But I’ve been so lazy with it lately so any new people looking to join . . . yeah I (definitely) can’t guarantee the “within a few hours response rate” I had at the beginning.

Does anyone know when letters go out? Finalists for TASS got theirs a few days ago.
@dannydalt64 The website says “mid-March” so I imagine we still have some waiting to do.
@dannydalt64 Do you mean that people were notified for the interview for TASS or that the group of 56 TASP scholars has been selected? We will most likely find out if we made it within the first 2 weeks of March.
Last year TASP sent out interview requests March 2…thats this week…
ooh. TASS results came out this year on the same day they came out last year.
@sekere62 I assume everyone gets them at different times, though…that’s what I heard.
TASS gave all theirs last year around the same time. It also makes sense for ours to come out a while later because there are so many more people applying. It’s around 3-4x the volume of applications compared to TASS
If this year is anything like the past 2 years, then that means we will be notified this week for sure
aghhh i thought it would be mid march for sure i’m all nervous now but I also want the results to be done and over with.
Can someone confirm that interviews have typically started near the end of mid March or did I just make that up? I stalked past message boards in January and absorbed a lotta info that way but i don’t feel like going back and checking
@divastar6 From the 2015 TASP thread, the vast majority of emails came out March 5th. (The Telluride website says mid-march, though). I might email and ask- anyone else?

Last year they came out on March 2nd which was a Wednesday. And in 2015, march 5th was a Thursday. I think it would be fair to say that we should expect to hear back from them this week.
I anticipate, based on the example of previous years, that initial email notifications will begin to go out either on Thursday, March 2d, or Friday, March 3d.
I agree, end of the week make sense.
