So I’m more of a STEM kind of person with a heavy hobby in writing and whatnot so all the other programs I applied to have to do with engineering lol. (MITES, MIT WTP, and my backup when I get rejected from everything is to take a Calc course at a local community college :P-- I’m trying to not get too attached because hopes are just hopes and I don’t want to elevate that to reality unless I get in. )

Hello! I’m an international applicant from the UK (haven’t read through the entire thread yet - was last on here when there were only two pages lol; is anyone else applying from where I am?).
Is anyone doing work experience over the summer instead, as a backup? Also, will anyone be applying for the Adroit Journal Mentorship programme?
I’ve applied to go to the European Synchrotron and do some material-science-y stuff in France / to a law firm as an intern.

Random question, but does anyone know how much current events you’d need to know for an interview? Like is it ok if you’re not too comfortable and you tell your interviewer that? (Only asking because it’s kind of hard to get caught up in current events quickly…like right after a possible interview notification…)

@peaceprincess Haha! Yeah, I’ll be hyperactively checking my email during March…I’ve got a bunch of other decisions coming out. I swear, though, I’ve spent all of February waiting for TASP decisions. I’m glad it’s almost over

I thought it was the middle of March? If I don’t get into any programs, I’m thinking of applying for a job. Either way, I’m looking forward to the summer
