Is there a thread here to contact former TASPers? I really need advice on the interview. 56 / 120 get in… I wonder what makes the difference. Personality? Confidence? Both? Grades?
@Acortez122 be yourself. If you managed to get to the interview part, and you have a decent personality I wouldn’t worry too much

I got an email with my interviewer’s information so I called my interviewer and we talked on the phone a bit about various things then scheduled our interview.
Does it depend on what area you live in? Did anyone from SF/Bay Area get contacted for an interview?
Hey guys, so for the interview section, they need an essay with a teacher’s comments on it, but most of my work either has no comments or very very little. I feel like I should get one from my AP Lang Class, but I seriously think that I don’t have a paper with teacher comments on them if so, it wasn’t for a final essay. Should I then go to my other teachers that have possibly made comments on them, if so, would it matter if it was history, or chemistry, or last year’s English class? getting anxious about this, please help.

Just scheduled my interview for next Wednesday! I’m in the NC area and both of my interviewers are college students at Davidson. Any tips to prepare? How’d yours go @StreenaSkywalker

They want to see how you think. I got asked about what I thought of licensing boards lol.

Licensing boards…? Was that related to your essay in some way or was it random? I’m kind of worried I don’t know enough current events unrelated to my essays… @StreenaSkywalker
They contacted me through the phone. My interviewer said he tried to email, but something was going wrong with that.
