I just got an email about getting an interview, I think I’m going to do it this weekend when I’ll be free. I’m nervous though! @moonface okay, i’ll do that. from your experience are they understanding with things such as that?
Any idea when the final results will be out?
according to the paper, late April @hkgarden55
@Lovelyneff22
I’ve emailed them and haven’t gotten an answer, so I’m probably calling them this week. Thank you for the suggestion!
Update y’all, I called them today and my interviewer contacted me just barely. I’ll be having my interview sometime this week, good luck to the rest of y’all!!!
Is anyone super nervous? or is it just me? lol I keep checking this every day.
Lol I keep checking also , although I’m not nervous about it I feel like if some of us don’t make it we can still be positive about it and even include it on our high school resumes , but I’m anxious to find out… has anyone had any other interviews
I have my interview later today and I’m soooo nervous. Good luck everyone who hasn’t interviewed yet!
I had my interview on Saturday, and it went really well. The person was incredibly nice and I actually told her about this forum lol. We did all the questions but we ended talking more about other things like traffic and stuff lol.
All the interviews seem to have gone well, it makes me wonder how they are going to select the candidates.
what are y’alls top choices for the seminars?
I wanted to do Cornell 2 I think, but my mom’s got an issue with how far I would be. So Michigan 1 is my top choice, but I love em all just the same.
Also this month could not end soon enough for me
Ahh, I don’t know what to think. I feel like the beginning of the interview was slightly awkward, but then things definitely warmed up. I think I may have said some mundane, predictable answers, and perhaps one of my ideas was too intolerant. I can’t change anything about it now, so I just have a grit-your-teeth-and-bear-it mindset to it hahaha.
Best of luck for all of us!
Good luck to everyone, hoping all of us get a chance to go to a seminar of our interest. I’m honestly wondering how do they pick out who will attend Tass and who will not , because I read that grades aren’t a huge deal to be accepted.so maybe it’s more based off of your interview and your essay because when I got interviewed, it was by a TASP alumni…so maybe they use people who was already in relation to the program to see if we will be a good fit. Honestly don’t know , but I will like to do Cornell 1 or Michigan 2 but I’ll be greatful to do which ever one I’m accepted into
Both of the people who interviewed me were TASP alumni.
@moonface Cornell II is my top choice, then Michigan I
I had one person interview me, and she is a TASS alumni!
I had a TASP alumni (and current history professor) interview me, and I want to say it went well but I’m a little afraid of jinxing myself lol
What I can say definitively was that she was super sweet and the discussion flowed easily. She did ask some hard questions that I think I may have fumbled, but there’s nothing to be done for that now.
@moonface In descending order, I ranked Cornell I, Michigan I, Cornell II, Michigan II. What were your rankings?
@phanakin I ranked; Cornell II , Michigan I, Michigan II, and Cornell 1. Going into my interview I was pretty nervous and now i’m left to overthink if I did good or terrible. Welp, at least its over and all we have to do is wait for an answer.
