<p>For USC, i got a letter that asked me to send in a copy of my parents' tax forms and a copy of mine (i didnt file any, so i sent in the student non-filers form).
For UC's you dont have to send anything in other than the fafsa (and you do that by putting the uc campus on the fafsa). For other privates, it depends on the school and what they ask from you.</p>
<p>for USC, you will need to submit your parent's income tax report and also your own tax form (if you do not work, just fill out the student non-filing form). also, USC might require you to send more forms for other purposes, so check your MyFinancialAid account regularly for updates. for me, even though the MyFinancialAid account showed that I needed to submit a few more forms, I was not notified by email until weeks later so check your account often. that way you can send your forms as quickly as possible.</p>
