I am an American citizens living abroad. I don't have W-2 or 1099 forms because my parents live abroad. Can anyone tell me what should i do when USC requests for those? Also, is submitting tax return form online official or do i still have to mail a paper copy to the school.

If you and your parents filed US taxes, send in (online, FAX, email or mail - it does not have to be paper) copies of your tax returns, all schedules, and a year-end paystub or statement showing you and your parents’ earnings for 2010. If you and your parents were not required to file taxes, use http://www.usc.edu/admission/fa/private/docs/1112/NFSP201112.pdf for your parents, and you log into USConnect to find your Non-filier’s form.

In both cases, be sure to watch email and your USConnect for additional information requests - it sometimes takes a long time for mailed requests for more info to get to those living abroad.

Good luck!
